Commotion Creative Ltd. is a small, personable team of skilled web designers & developers, with offices in the UK and US. We deliberately created Commotion to provide small to medium businesses with website solutions and ecommerce systems that will give our customers a good return on their investment, at highly competitive rates, without compromising in the areas of quality or personal service.

I have been in IT, well, a long time. For the past 25 years I have started and owned companies and watched them grow. You learn a lot along the way about what works and what doesn’t. I have always been straight, ethical, and have a passion for getting costs down and the value up for my customers. Blech, I hate the word "customers". We are all people, and it's very rewarding to call so many business people we get the pleasure to work with, friends.

Now that I can work with Joey, who shares the same vision and passion, it’s really exciting to be working together in Commotion, a business that gets 100% of my business time now.

I am constantly speaking to people who have been quoted for a website that is little more than a few static pages and uses a template – what's the point, its money wasted and it makes me angry! Building websites is one thing, but to be able to build a website with the correct approach to research, Information Architecture, the content that is needed, design and branding... needs experience.

Of course, we knew developing with the level of flexibility we intended would be too expensive. So we found ways to cut the development cost by 50% or more, without compromising or cutting corners. That makes our customers friends happy, so it makes us happy. We think what we are doing is special.

Joey will probably tell you he got his iPad before me. Listen, they shipped in the USA a good month before coming to the UK.

Anyway, I really don’t care...honestly.

I love what we are doing, and working with Joey (Did I forget to mention that Joey is pretty skilled too? Oh well). And we really enjoy reading the testimonials we receive. It tells us we are getting it right.

But we will never rest. We will always explore and find ways to deliver greater value and better results. We are affordable, and we are experienced, and we are nice people.

David and I met in 2007. We worked together on a couple of projects. We hit it off right away, and in our discussions, we found that our visions for the future web were very compatible. We decided to put our heads together on developing a framework for rapid web development that provided both flexibility and affordability, and BOOM! Commotion was born. It was a beautiful baby. We're not sure who's the mother and who's the father; it's a conversation we try to avoid, to be honest.

I got the iPad before David did. Way before. Don't Mention this to him; it's a bit of a sore spot.

I've been developing websites and web applications for more than a decade; not as long as David (it's hard to compete with someone who has been building websites since before electricity was discovered). For me, coding is an art, and I take a tremendous amount of pride in my work. If David doesn't brag on my work, I get really angry at him.

I'm not needy.

Commotion is our pride and joy, and we work hard every day to make sure you love it as much as we do. It's not just a living for us. It represents our desire to make people happy, to save them money, and to make high-quality web development accessible to everyone.

Building websites is fun, and we enjoy our jobs. We don't let our schedule get too stressful, and we don't take on more jobs than we can handle. We enjoy creating happy relationships with our clients, and we want you to relax when it comes to your website, knowing that you are in capable and expert hands with Commotion.

Commotion Creative is more than a business. It's founded on friendship and respect, amongst our team, and for our clients. Everyone needs to make money, but if our clients aren't happy with the products and services they receive, then we are not happy workers. We exist to provide fulfilling services, and we will work far harder than you might expect to make sure your needs are fulfilled. At the end of the day, we are all people, and we all need to be treated with kindness and respect. Commotion believes that this begins with us.
